A Place to Belong
Our Community
Community is at the heart of everything we do at Holy Trinity School. Each day, students, families, faculty, and parishioners come together in shared purpose. We are a community rooted in Jesuit values—one that fosters connection, encourages reflection, and practices compassion.
Our students grow not only through academic challenge, but through the strength of relationships that form across grades, generations, and backgrounds. Whether supporting each other in times of need or celebrating shared successes, the Holy Trinity community is a place where everyone belongs and where everyone contributes.
HTS Traditions
-
Votive Mass
The Votive Mass in honor of Mary is a special tradition at Holy Trinity, celebrating both our Catholic faith and the joyful milestone of our second graders receiving their First Communion. The mass is a beautiful expression of devotion and gratitude, as students, dressed in their First Communion suits and dresses, take part in the liturgy with reverence and pride. Afterwards, families of the Second Graders gather for a reception to reflect on and celebrate students’ faith journey.
-
Christmas Show
The Christmas Show at Holy Trinity is one of the most cherished traditions of the year, held on the final morning before Christmas break. Led by our Eighth Graders—who serve as narrators and the central performers—the show weaves together performances from Pre-K to Eighth Grade to retell the Nativity story. The program ends with the entire school gathering on the altar to sing Christmas carols together, filling the church with light, hope, and the spirit of the season.

Field Day
Field Day at Holy Trinity is a joyful celebration of spirit, teamwork, and fun. Decked out in Blue or White, students compete in a variety of games and challenges as part of our long-standing color team tradition. The friendly rivalry brings out cheers, laughter, and a camaraderie. A BBQ hosted by parent volunteers keeps energy high throughout the day, and the event concludes with the much-anticipated tug of war contest, held on Georgetown University’s campus.
