General Homework Policy:

The purpose of homework in the 1st grade is to practice and expand skills independently. It is assigned on a regular basis, and is collected, corrected and returned promptly.

A homework folder will go home every night. This is also a good way for parent/teacher communication. This should be signed and returned every day. 

***Homework should NOT be stressful or keep a student up late. Please keep me informed of any major issues or difficulties with your child completing the homework.
