CANNED FOOD DRIVE NOVEMBER 17-21

The 4th graders are being asked to please bring in canned vegetables for our school wide food collection for the poor.

MUSIC HOMEWORK

Please remind your children to practice their songs on the recorder. The 4th graders will perform with their recorders on Grandparents'/Special Friends Day. Please also remind your children to bring their recorders to school every Thursday for Music class.

DRESSING FOR COLD WEATHER

Now that the fall weather is here, it is important that students stay warm at recess and walking to Yates for P.E. It can get quite cold outside on the street in the shade. Girls should wear navy blue leggings or navy blue sweat pants under their jumpers. All students should have jackets to wear in addition to Holy Trinity sweat shirts. As it gets colder, it will be necessary to bring hats and gloves to school each day.

HOMEWORK

We are really improving- only 8 Fourth graders had their name on the Homework Log last week. Let's work together to have an empty homework log. Remember, any missing homework or homework that was turned in late or not turned in at all will be noted in the Comments section of the Tuesday Folder each week.

DAILY READING

Students are asked to read for 20 minutes each night to reinforce Language Arts skills. Please remind your child to choose a book that they will enjoy.
