As we completed
the self-portraits this year
I can't help but remember attempting to lead
my very self-conscious 6th graders as they created self-portraits.
We've come a
long way! My 6th graders
are lovely people, very much their age,
and still able to, even with the disguise of a hat,
take a long look at themselves,
and create unbelievable portraits.
The work speaks for itself!
