In Religion Class we started out the year by designing paper banners
which expressed our thanks to God.

Our hearts and imagination thank all our visitors during the year. They made our Religion Classes so much more special.

Officer Shannon - that we be alert in our lives and make safe choices
Dr. Maura Carroll - with giggles and tender guidance for Family Life
Father Spahn, S.J. - with the gift of Eucharistic Adoration

Sr. Helene from Visitation - sharing her gift of music in prayer
Father Shea, S.J.
- who visited us often in our art class on Wednesdays, and
who, in one 50 minute religion session,
gave us more than our teachers could give us all year.
Maybe our teachers prepared us well,
but in talking about Holy Orders, Father Shea
wrapped all the sacraments and our individual relationships
with God all together into each of us having a special calling in life.

We were particularly blessed by Father Gabriel, OSB,
who came to visit us from Uganda.

We forged a special friendship with him and his students.
This helped us to truly appreciate a "mission".
