Ms. Velez read
Barbara Elleman's book about the life of Virginia Lee Burton -
the woman who wrote "Mike Mulligan and his Steam Shovel".
She decided to
use Ms. Burton's work as a basis for teaching us about design.
The lesson was simple enough that we were successful.
