IGNATIAN FOCUS for October

MCKENNA SANDWICHES ON WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 8
Our class will be making McKenna Sandwiches tomorrow. Students are invited to come to school early to make the sandwiches in our classroom. We will begin at 7:45. Please bring enough to feed at least 10 people- if possible. Please bring in the following items (assigned alphabetically): Thank you!!!
Meat: Students whose last names begin A to
D
Bread: Students whose last name begins E to L
Cheese: Students whose last name begins M to W
* Bologna and turkey are good choices. No individual wrapped cheese is preferred. *
SERC FIELD TRIP
We are getting excited. Our SERC Field trip is next Wednesday, October 15 from 8:30 until 2:30. Permission slips for the field trip are enclosed in today's Tuesday Folder. Please sign the forms and send them back in the Folder tomorrow. Thank you.
HOMEWORK REMINDER
The 4th Grade Homework Log is quickly filling up. Parents may cross check assignments by going to the Holy Trinity Web Page and clicking on Homework and then 4th Grade. Any missing homework or homework that was turned in late or not turned in at all will be noted in the Comments section of the Tuesday Folder each week.
CLASSROOM SUPPLIES
Thank you to all the 4th grade families who sent in kleenex, paper towels and wipes. We should be set until Thanksgiving. We appreciate your generosity to our class. You are the best parents!
DAILY READING
Students are asked to read for 20 minutes each night to reinforce Language Arts skills. Please remind your child to choose a book that they will enjoy.
