(3) The sources may be internet, personal, print, TV, almost anything

(3) The date may be “circa” (around)

(1) Two maps: One of the world region with your country colored in; the other
one should be just of your country. There are several outline map books in the
social studies room, but you may get them wherever.
(2) Borders: What form the boundaries of your nation? Other countries? Rivers?
Mountains? Oceans?
(3) Major waterways: Natural or made? Where are they? Names? Ports?
(4) Major geographic features: Mountains? Deserts? Plains?
(5) Provinces, states, and departments: How is your nation sub-divided?
(6) Capital city: Where is it? Why is it there? Has it always been the capital?
Is there more than one?
(7) Other cities: Add any cities with a population of 250,000 or more?
