PRE-K NEWS

October 21, 2003

Dear Pre-K Parents,

This week we are learning about pumpkins. Pre-K has already made a list of things that we already know about pumpkins. Naturally we have a pumpkin poem and a pumpkin song, and we are reading pumpkin books. After our field trip we will see if we have learned anything that we did not already know about pumpkins.
Thanks to those of you who signed up to drive on Thursday. I have attached a driver information form to this letter for our field trip drivers. The letter needs to be completed and kept on file in the office. If you have already completed the form for another class you do not need to fill it out again. We will be outside for most of the day on Thursday so please send a bag lunch for your child, and make sure that s/he is dressed for the weather.
Next week our theme will be, Things That Go Bump In the Night. We will read Halloween stories, learn about bats, and find some fun things to do in the dark while we count down to Halloween. I hope you can join us for the parade and celebration next Friday.
