Admissions
Information
For an admissions brochure,
please call (202) 337-2339 ext. 203 and leave a detailed message on voice mail
or send an email
request to Kim Calnan Crismali (Director of Admissions)
To receive our information brochures, please be sure to include your name and
address, child's date of birth, and proper grade level. For example, a child
applying to nursery must be 3 years old by September 1st of the year of entry.
This is a policy of the Archdiocese of Washington.
Application
Procedure
Holy Trinity
School mails information brochures once a week from early October through the
end of May. We accept applications throughout the school year. However, applications
received after February 1st for the following academic year will be processed
on a space-available basis.
Suggested
Procedure to Follow
1. Call the
school office approximately one year PRIOR to when your child will start school.
Complete and return application with a $60.00 fee as soon as possible. Applications
are dated.
2. Visit the school for a regularly scheduled Open House.
The Principal and the Director of Admissions will be available to answer questions.
An admissions test is required for grades 2-7 (HTS does not accept 8th graders
into our program). The HTS admissions test is scheduled for February. A visit
is required for Nursery, Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 1st grade. The visits are
scheduled for February and March. Letters with information for visits and testing
will be sent out to parents the first week of February. This is also the only
opportunity for the students to visit the school while in session.
3. Current grades, standardized tests, and current teacher
and Principal recommendations must be received by February 15, but not before
the end of the first grading period of the current academic year. Applications
will not be reviewed unless ALL requested information has been received.
4. Acceptances are mailed in mid March/early April and
are determined by available space and certain criteria.
