Note from Ms. Litwinovich
Hello 4th Grade Parents!
Happy Valentine’s Day! We had a wonderful party today where we made valentines with the help of Jill Casasola and John Carroll-Gavula, and had snacks that were donated by the Bayz and Casasola families. Then students passed out their treats and had to make the tough decision of choosing ONE candy to enjoy in school. Bonnie Hill has asked me to remind you that the temporary tattoos that were passed out today, must be a weekend treat as they are not part of the dress code.
We are going to be starting our Family Life lessons soon. Please look for the permission slip in this week’s Tuesday Folder. The permission slip must be returned by next Tuesday. Thanks so much!
McKenna sandwiches are tomorrow! Please come join us in making sandwiches to feed the homeless. We will be making sandwiches in the classroom from 7:45-8:10. Requested donations are as follows:
Anthony-Gallagher: Bread
Gammon-Moran: Cheese
Morrell-Volkman: Deli Meat

The student column has been temporarily replaced with a homework tip for the day. We learned the algorithm for multiplication today. We taught it using the steps below.
First multiply the ones. Regroup as necessary.
Next Multiply the tens. Add in any regrouped tens.
